It's been a while, for a number of reasons. Firstly, I've been working on a number of commissions, which I can't really share anything about, Which has led to a lot less time in the studio making new art. I'm not going to lie, this year has been one of the most difficult to date as an artist. Social media requires you to be a full time content creator these days, and rewards regular posts, something which is difficult as a solo artist caring for a four year old and an 84 year old!
Anyway, It's not all doom and gloom - honest!

I've been so excited to launch these. I collaborated with FOXYROKS recently, who made some of these decks into knife handles. they look so good, and people went mad for them, so I thought I'd launch a few of the decks themselves.

I've been working on a new collection of animals in my style. It started as daft sketches of my two cats, and has now grown into a whole menagerie. Most of the original paintings have now sold, but you can get all of them as prints or coasters.
As for AI, I think it's systematically erasing people's creativity. Not to mention the harm it does for our planet. It should never have been opened up to the general public, without regard for the damage it can do. As an artist, it has undermined every aspect of my career, made it harder get seen online, stolen my artwork to churn out it's slop, and made the folks who would usually spend money on mid-range artwork disappear. Something has to change before it ruins the entire creative industry. In this volatile world, we need the Arts now, more than ever.
